Replication steps

1. Create a quiz
2. Navigate to the question bank
3. Import some questions
4. Click on the questions tab
5. Click the "Add" link with a chevron to pull up a menu
6. Select "from question bank"
7. Immediately close the modal
8. Click "Add" and "from question bank" again
9. In the "Type or select..." drop down scroll down to find the category with your imported questions.
10. Click the "Apply filters" button

Expected behaviour The imported questions are shown in the modal
Actual: Nothing happens. I need to close the modal and open it again to have the filters take affect.
