- Create a course
- Create a question bank on the course if it doesn't already have one
- Add 201 questions to the question bank (download the attached bulk_create_questions.php
):
php bulk_create_questions.php --course=MDL-80386 --questions=201
- Visit the question bank
- Confirm that it shows you 100 per page, so a total of 3 pages.
- Click the "Show all" button
- Confirm that it now shows you all 201 questions and the button has toggled to say "Show 100 per page" (100 is the default setting in the system)
- Confirm that in the database your qperpage preference is now 4000 (This is used as a value to represent "all" though it's not technically all. Not my idea.).
- Click "Show 100 per page"
- Confirm that it now shows you 100 questions again and 3 pages, and the text of the button goes back to saying "Show all"
- Click to go to page 2 of the questions and confirm it shows the next 100 questions.
- Click "Show all" again, and verify that it shows all 201 questions.
In a quiz
- Now add a quiz to your course
- Go to the Add Questions page and choose to Add from Question Bank
- Choose the question bank and category which we put our questions in and Apply Filters.
- Confirm you see 20 per page, as expected.
- Toggle the "Show All" again and make sure it switches between showing all questions and the paginated questions
- Confirm that if you select "all" with the "select all" checkbox you can add them all to the quiz in 1 go

This tracker adds back the "Show all" functionality to the question bank filter page, which was removed previously.
It adds a new button to the filter actions page, which lets you toggle "Show all" back and forth (This is only usable on the Question Bank filter at the moment, but other filters can implement it easily).
The "Show All" toggle will still use the ap;lied filters. So if you filter by, e.g. "Type" => "Essay" and then click "Show all", it will show you all the "Essay" questions ine 1 list, instead of all the Essay questions paginated.
It also adds a small change to the loading of the question bank to add a loading image, as it can appear non-responsive if it is taking a while to load questions.
