In English "from" and "to" words are polysemic and can be used to set date ranges and to identify sender and recipients of a message.
I've detected that 'from' and 'to' core strings are used in Moodle for both meanings, and that's an issue when translating them to other languages without this polysemy.
To avoid this, there should be a string for each meaning and use them coherently.
