Log in as admin Navigate to Activity modules > Assignment settings in site administration Select Enable timed assignments and save changes Create a course Create two course groups Group 1 Group 2 Add an Assignment activity Navigate to Overrides from module navigation Select Group overrides and press Add group override Select Group 1 Enable Time limit and set to "20 minutes" Press Save Navigate to Activity modules > Assignment settings in site administration De-select Enable timed assignments and save changes Reload the assignment Overrides page Confirm there is no Time limit override for Group 1. Press Add group override Confirm Time limit option is not present Select Group 2 Amend another override option (e.g. Due date ) Press Save Confirm the override is saved and shown correctly on the Overrides table
