We have a client who requires a feature in question banks and quizzes that we haven't seen anywhere yet.
We'd like to know whether it is in the pipeline already and, if not, whether we could develop it as a contribution.

The feature is this:
We would like to be able to add constraints to random questions, to prevent selection of certain questions in the question bank.
The filter would be a simple set of value comparissons against custom question fields.
For example: If I have a question bank for a given subject, with a common core question set that is pertinent for all students, and some additinal questions that are for students studying certain specialities, then the idea would be to tag the questions with a custom field to identify the domain to which they apply and to be able to configure the random question type to only select questions that are relevant in a given domain.
In the simplest case we could have a single condition: The question would be configured with the custom field name and the set of acceptable field values.

Is something along these lines already in your backlog?

I also have a quite separate request relating to importing questions with related custom fields. We are considering adding the feature to the XML question bank import / export.
Again, is this already in a pipeline somewhere or is this something that we could contribute?
