Setup

Create an assignment and make sure only one user needs grading

e.g. Create a submission for them as the teacher via "edit submission"

or login as the student to do a submission

Test

Go to the assignment > Grade

Change the filter in the top right of the page to "Requires grading"

note: You may need to select a user using next/previous if you see "No user selected" at the top of the pane. Just do this and make sure you can see the user who has made the submission and requires grading. Its being fixed separately on https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-80091

Add a grade for the user, clicking "Save" or "Save and show next".

The page should lead to "no user selected"

The CTA buttons should no longer be visible

Navigating to other filter/user should return the CTA buttons back

Hey there!

This bug has been reported by one of our users. When he is grading student's submissions in the "grader" view, user selector/switcher behaves rather weirdly:

Steps to reproduce:

Open the grader view of any course assignment, with submissions by students.
Set the user filter in the top-right corner (under the "Select user") to "Requires grading".
Grade all the submissions one by one.
Now try to change the user via the arrows or the selector.

Expected behavior:

Arrows and the selector won't do anything - as all the students have been graded.

Actual behavior:

Selector wont suggest any students - but I can list through them via the arrows, as they wouldn't be graded at all. When I re-apply the filter, the behavior seems fixed.

I am aware that 3.11 gets only security updates now; however I think it affects newer versions as well (as I've not found any mentions about fixing this).
