Quiz with completion requirement (must achieve passing grade) marks complete after first attempt, regardless of grade.

• A quiz with unlimited attempts is set.
• The quiz is to be marked complete when a passing grade is achieved.
• The quiz is marked complete once an attempt is finished, regardless of grade.

Using Moodle 4.0.2

Expected behavior:  A student completes a quiz and earns the minimum passing grade ==> The quiz is marked complete in the Activity Completion table.

Actual behavior:  A student attempts a quiz and completes the attempt.  Regardless of grade, the quiz is marked complete in the Activity Completion table.

To replicate:

1 Create a quiz with the following settings:

• A minimum grade to pass that is not zero
• Completion settings to include "student must receive a grade" AND "student must receive a passing grade"

2 A user with a role of Student takes the test and answers questions incorrectly

3 View Quiz Result page and Activity Completion page to verify that student has not earned the required grade but is marked complete
