Setup

Create a course with one teacher and one student

Create a new quiz with one true/false question (mark is 1 by default)

Complete the quiz with the student's account

Test the error message

Login as teacher then go to the quiz > Attempts

On the student's attempt, click on Review Attempt then Make comment or override mark

Modify the mark of the student from the mark's input by

A mark which is grater than the max => click Save

A mark which is a character => click Save

Make sure the error message display correctly

When a teacher manually scores text questions in the quiz, an error message is displayed as the score entered is higher than allowed.
The error message should be highlighted in red because the grades are not saved, but you can leave the page without saving it. This can be very annoying for teachers if they have given elaborate feedback.
