When logged in as an ordinary user (not an admin) the notification preferences page lists many notifications that don't apply to you such as Asynchronous backup/restore notifications, New login notifications and Data request processing results.

Let's review all the default settings and set more sensible ones, and maybe see if it is possible to not show certain notification preferences to users without the capability to do anything with the notification.
