This is a project idea for Moodle 4.1 to stop supporting the manual inclusion of renderer.php, and the use of non-namespaced class names.

This is a fairly criticical code path and the added layers of complexity here to support this is unnecessary when autoloading and namespace are commonplace in Moodle now.
