You need a screen-reader (NVDA or ChromeVox) for this test Log in as admin Go into an existing course or create a new one Create a quiz in the course Add a new 'Essay' question to the quiz In the settings of the essay question set 'Response format' to 'HTML editor' Set 'Allow attachments' to 1 Preview the quiz Use the 'Navigate forward' shortcut of your screen reader to navigate between the elements of the page until you reach the text editor that is for writing the answer to the question Verify that you heard the words 'Answer text' when you reached the editor Use the 'Navigate forward' shortcut of your screen reader to navigate between the elements of the page until you reach the file manager field that is for uploading files as the answer to the question Verify that you heard the words 'Answer files' when you reached the file manager Type some text in the editor Upload a couple of files there Click on the 'Finish attempt' button, and then click on 'Submit all and finish' button Use the 'Navigate forward' shortcut of your screen reader to navigate between the elements of the page until you reach the read-only area that contains the answer you typed at step 11 Verify that you heard the words 'Answer text' Use the 'Navigate forward' shortcut of your screen reader to navigate between the elements of the page until you reach the area that contains the files you uploaded at step 12 Verify  that you heard the words 'Answer files' Verify  that you heard some text that indicates the list has 2 files (you may need to navigate forward to hear this) Click on the 'Edit question' link to edit the question repeat steps 5 to 11 and at step 5, set 'Response format' to HTML editor with file picker Plain text Plain text, monospaced font No online text (skip steps7 and 8 when this is selected)
