Login as admin Navigate to Users > Permissions > User policies in site administration For the field Show user identity select Email address & Country Create 3 new users Bob Smith (Country value US) John Smith (Country value ES) Jane Smith (Country value UK) Create a course and enrol your 3 new users in it Navigate to Users > Groups in course administration Create a new group: "Group one" Click on " Group one " in the Groups list Press Add/remove users Confirm that the configured identity fields from step 3 in the selects fields Add Bob & Jane to the group Press Back to groups Confirm the Members of: Group one list shows Bob & Jane with the configured identity fields from step 3 Create a new group: "Group two" Click on " Group two " in the Groups list Press Add/remove users Add John & Jane to the group Press Back to groups Confirm the Members of: Group two list shows John & Jane with the configured identity fields from step 3 Click between the two new groups in the Groups list and confirm the Members of:... list updates and lists users with the configured identity fields from step 3 Press the Overview tab Confirm all users in the Group members column are shown with the configured identity fields from step 3
