We are used to having the department field in our gradebook exports and used the central setting grade_export_userprofilefields up until we upgraded from 3.3 to 3.7. After upgrading, this setting doesn't do anything anymore as Tim Hunt pointed out to me (https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=392526#p1582387) this is now controlled by Admin -> Users -> Permissions -> User policies -> Show user identity. 

Can this field be removed, since it seems like it isn't used anymore?
