If I set a due date on mod_assign to 10th November 2019 @ 16:00 (the date isn't important, just a future date), the assignment will appear in a students calendar, as expected.
However, if, as a student, I add the Timeline block to my Dashboard, the date will display as 9th November @ 16:00 - 24 hours early.
I'm working on my own plugin that is adding events to the calendar, and have found the same happening, so it's not an issue with mod_assign.
I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, I suspect the former.
