If double quotes character (ASCII character 34) is entered into a short answer field of a multianswer (cloze) question, and the answer is either submitted individually (using the adaptive mode) OR saved without submitting, then all characters following the first occurence of the double quotes are lost.

Example:
[SHORTANSWER FIELD]: It is called "love".

  [SHORTANSWER FIELD]: It is called \
• Save without submitting (2)
  [SHORTANSWER FIELD]: It is called
  

If the answer is submitted at once (not using adaptive mode or save without submitting feature), it is saved OK to the database and graded OK, but it appears damaged on the review page.
