Deleting a grade item in UI Create a course  Navigate to the grade set up screen and add a new grade item. Delete the grade item just created Go to Site administration > Reports > Logs Press " Get these logs " Make sure that you see log records like  "The user with id <user id> deleted a grade item with id <grade item id> and name <grade item name > from the course with the id <course id>. Click on the "Grade item deleted" event name. Confirm that a browser window launches which opens up the grade book setup page that shows the grade item that you deleted is gone.
