Updating a new grade item in UI Create a course with some grade items (could be manual or activities) Navigate to the grade set up screen and update any grade item. Go to Site administration > Reports > Logs Press " Get these logs " Make sure  that you see log records like  "The user with id <user id> updated a grade item with id <grade item id> and name <grade item name > in the course with the id <course id>. Click on the "Grade item updated" event name. Confirm  that a browser window launches which opens up the grade book setup page that shows the grade item that you created.
