Visit Users > Accounts > User profile fields Create two new Text input profile fields Shortname: f1; Name: New field Shortname: f2; Name: Better field Visit Users -> Add a new user Firstname: John Lastname: Doe Email address: john@doe.com Other fields -> New field: Foo Other fields -> Better field: Bar Visit Users > Accounts > Browse list of users Click Show more... under New filter Confirm User profile fields select list contains the full name of each of your profile fields from step 2. and they are ordered alphabetically Set 'New field' 'contains' 'Foo' and perform the search Confirm that user John Doe is in the search results list
