When using a file from a repository (e. g. private files, owncloud/nextcloud, etc.) users can choose between "make a copy of the file" and "create an alias/shortcout to the file". Normally the field "make a copy of the file" is preselected. By using files from a repository the users will often create an alias to the file and have to change the selection from "make a copy" to "create an alias".

It would be better that a moodle aministrator can change the settings, which option will be preselected for each repository AND/OR the user can choose this setting in his own user preferences.
