      Use the following CSS:

          list-style: none;
      }

      1. Login as an administrator
      2. Select the Clean theme
      3. Navigate to 'Course administration' -> 'Courses' -> 'Manage courses and categories'.
      4. Under the 'Course categories' section with 'Create category':
      5. Create a top level category called 'Odd'.
      6. Create a sub-category within 'Odd' called 'Odd odd'.
      7. Create a sub-category within 'Odd odd' called 'Odd odd odd'.
      8. Observe that no 'list style' icons are present.
      9. Repeat from step 8 for the More theme.

      When you have nested categories with the Clean theme (or any child theme of Bootstrapbase) then the list style's have not been set to 'none' and as a consequence look odd:
