Make sure to have the site configured to allow data privacy requests. Log in as an administrator or privacy officer (whoever has the permission to create data privacy requests). Make a data privacy request on behalf of a student. The data requests page should show a column for "Requested by" and there should be the name of the person that made the request. In the actions column click "View the request". The pop up should show the details about the request including "Requested by". Log in as the student who the request was made for. Go to their profile page and follow the "Data requests" link in the Privacy and policies section. Check that the "Requested by" column is visible and filled out.
