Feature Enhancement Request
When using the workshop activity, there are situations where you want students to rate peer work (for example contributions to group work, or physical products) but don't want the individuals to submit something online to be assessed.
The current workaround for this - get each user to type their name into the submission text box - is increadibly clunky and makes the whole activity seem badly thought out.
Ideally there should be a setting for staff to select an offline activity with no submission, which would result in the workshop being switched into Assessment Phase directly, with all participants allocated the appropriate people to review (groups/groupings as specified).
Without this option, you can switch the workshop into Assessment Phase and even setup conditional access, but users aren't allocated anyone to review because nothing was submitted in the previous phase.
Maybe my expectations are high - but Moodle badly needs a Peer Review tool with better flexibility so that it isn't dependant on every user jumping through meaningless hoops just to gain access to the task. Not everything you want to peer review can easily be submitted.
Thanks, Gordon.
