Provide a way to switch to editing mode when viewing user enrolment details whenever possible

      1. Login as an admin.
      2. Enable the Course meta link enrolment plugin
      3. Create a course C1 and manually enrol some students.
      4. Create another course C2 and manually enrol some students.
      5. Navigate to C1.
      6. Go to the participants page and expand the settings cog and click "Enrolment methods"
      7. Add the "Course meta link" enrolment method.
      8. Link C2, then click "Add method".
      9. Go back to the course participants page.
      10. Check the status columns for the manually enrolled users.
        • Confirm that the "Edit enrolment" link (gear icon) comes before the "Unenrol" link (trash icon).
      11. Click on the "Enrolment details" link (info icon) for the manually enrolled users.
      12. Check the Enrolment details modal.
        • Confirm that it has an "Edit enrolment" icon (cog) next to the enromlent name.
      13. Click on the "Edit enrolment" icon (cog).
        • Confirm that the Enrolment details modal closes and the Edit enrolment modal comes up.
      14. Suspend the student.
        • Confirm that you the student's enrolment becomes suspended.
      15. Click on the "Enrolment details" link (info icon) for the users enrolled through the course meta link plugin.
      16. Check the Enrolment details modal.
        • Confirm that you only see a "Cancel" button in the modal and you don't see the "Edit enrolment" icon (cog).
      Test on other enrolment methods.

      Might be a pain to set up (sorry!).

      1. Enable the following enrolment methods and enrol students to C1 thru these methods (or as Eloy suggested below, hacking user_enrolments->enrolid might do):
        • Flatfile
        • LTI
        • Paypal
        • Self enrolment
      2. Go to the participants page and check the status column for the students enrolled using the above methods.
        • Confirm that the "Edit enrolment" link (gear icon) comes before the "Unenrol" link (trash icon).

      Two almost identical popups have two icons in the list, with a trashcan inbetween!

       

       

       

       

       

      All this seems like an excessive amount of cruft for a new interface.   How about just combining them into one dialog under gear menu?
