Use case I just ran into:

1. There is a course with a URL resource with manually-marked completion set.
2. The URL resource takes the user to an external page (such as a Google docs spreadsheet)
3. Expected bahaviour: There should be a way to navigate to the course containing the activity so that I can mark it as completed.
4. Current behaviour: Clicking either the activity name or the View link takes me to the external page, no easy way to get into the course.

barbararamiro explained that the course names used to be links in early mockups but were found to clutter the UI too much.

Maybe the "View" link could have the ?redirect=0 added in this particular case so that the users always end on the activity page, whereas clicking the activity name would take them to the external page.
