Web service is not available error when clicking messaging icon after expected timeout

      I clicked the Messaging icon in the header on the prototype site after being inactive for a day and I was given the following error message:

      Replication steps.

      1. Log in as a user.
      2. Run php admin/cli/kill_all_sessions.php.
      3. Click on the messaging icon in the top-right.
