The message window gives the appearance that it updates in real time:

1. the layout is that of a chat app
2. the status of the remote user is visible

However when sending messages between my users, I have to refresh the page in order to see the changes.
If I click on the user's name in the recent contacts list, the messages update but the latest message in the contacts list does not.
