Testing Instructions:

Hide

1. Open up any page which uses the initialbar eg http://moodle.test.local/user/index.php?id=1, http://moodle.test.local/report/progress/index.php?course=2, http://moodle.test.local/report/completion/index.php?course=2 etc

2. Search bar should be present now

3. Search for users by firrstname, lastname, email, middlename, alternativename etc

4. Make sure search works by clicking button and hitting Enter

5. Make sure that preferences are saved (leave and return to the page)

6. Make sure preferences can be reset by reset link

Lots of clients have requested this, when there are lots of students the alphabet inital choosers became unwieldly and all the want is a quick free text search.
