If a teacher allows another attempt in a group assignment then additional attempts will be created equal to the number of members in the group.
      Replication steps

      1. Make sure that you have a couple of groups created.
      2. Create a new assignment activity with the following settings:
        • Submissions settings > Attempts reopened - Manually
        • Group submission settings > Students submit in groups - Yes
        • Common module settings > Group mode - Visible groups
      3. Grade a group. Add a grade and some feedback and scroll down to "Allow another attempt" and select Yes. Save changes.
      4. If you scroll down to view which attempt the group is on you will observe that it is the group member count +1 (1 for the initial attempt).
