Visit a page that cointains an inline editable field, for example: Site administration > Appearance > Manage tags

Click on the field, make sure it does not look narrow and it is similar to a regular text field.

On tag areas, on the last column (Standard tags usage) there is a inline editable (select).

Click on the pen, make sure it looks similar to a regular boost select field.
