Moodle collects a lot of license information for every uploaded file but it currently stays hidden in the database.
We must display this information wherever we can right next to the file, either:
- in full text under the file
- in a popup under a © icon
- for images, as a watermark on the image
This was always intended since the licenses were introduced in MDL-21146 but somehow never got worked on and I couldn't find an issue for it (which may explain why it never got worked on!).
