Make sure ~~MDL-51888~~ is integrated.

add a file to your private files

create a file resource with a shortcut to this file, select to display file size and modified date

wait at least 5 minutes (there is a timeout on uploaded/modified date)

update the original file (upload or d&d new file with the same name and choose "Overwrite")

make sure the new size and date are displayed

repeat with filesystem repo

server repo should act the same way as private files. Other repositories do not provide modified date info

while working on ~~MDL-51888~~ I noticed that timemodified is not synchronised when we retrieve updated information about the reference source.
