At present textual scales are mapped to a numeric value (for aggregation) this is always done on an evenly tempered percentage scale. In some cases this may not be the desired result. I would be useful if a method could be devises (probably by some syntactic convention in the scale definition text) to map to specific numeric values to be used in calculations.
