As decided in policy issue MDL-50432 from now one Moodle will fix bugs in the gradebook preventing changes in existing grades.

In MDL-50522 we are investigating the possible solutions but it will be effective from the next major version (3.0). For the current stables (2.8 and 2.9) we are introducing the "gradebook calculation freezing", see also https://docs.moodle.org/en/Gradebook_calculations_changes

Some people however say that "bugs should be fixed even if they change the grades". In this issue I want to discuss (and implement) site-wide setting "Always accept fixes in gradebook calculations" that will disable any freezing in any course.
