I am unable to change some of the config data in moodle:

1. The http proxy password. When I change it from the settings screen it remains the same. I then went and found the password field in the database and it had the word error in it. I edited the database and changed it to the correct password, but back in the settings screen, the old password remained.

2. LDAP auth plugin: We have moved to a different domain controller and a different active directory domain. I have updated all the details for LDAP and originally it worked. While the details are correct both on the settings screen and in the database, the LDAP module is still logging on to the old server.
