Right now, students can view their grades without hidden assignments counting against them. Why can't teachers have this option too? I'd love to see all of my student's grades just as they are seeing their grades right now.

The only workaround to this problem is creating a "dummy" category with no weight, and then manually transferring assignments to your "true" categories as they are "unhidden". This may not be an issue if you have a few assignments, but when you have over 300 "quizzes" per semester, like I do, it's a real pain.
