You need and Android 4.x phone and the latest Moodle Mobile app version installed. As admin: Log in into your site, configure and enable the Plugins > Messages > Output Mobile notifications plugin (use the access key provided in the first comment in the issue) As normal user: Log in into your Moodle site, go to your messaging preferences and enable receive personal messages between users via "Mobile notifications" Open the Mobile app in your device and log in to the site, move the app to the background (switch to a different app or go to the main screen) As admin: Send a private message to the normal user You should receive a Push notification in your device, displayed in the top tray. The title must be your site fullname, it should display also the Moodle Mobile logo at the left at a partial view of the message text
