Manual testing Create or edit a course. Add a few assessable activities (assignments are good). Go to the gradebook (Categories and items). Create a two manual grade items. Add a category. Add a manual grade item to that category. Add a manual grade item to the course category. Go to the single view and select a user. Override a normal grade item and set a grade. Give grades for both manual grade items and update. When you are back at the single view page check that both manual items have the grades that you entered. Check that the overridden grade is still set. Check that there is a figure for the Category total. Check that there is also a figure for the Course total. Click on the pencil next to one of the manual grade items (Far left side of the grade item). Set grades for some of the students. Check after saving that the grades are still visible.
