Go to Site administration / ►Reports / ►Event monitoring rules Create a rule. Make sure the drop down "Select an event" updates based on the changes to "Select the plugin type:" selected. Save it. Try editing it again, and make sure you see the plugin and event correctly selected when the edit page loads. Without changing the plugin check the drop down for "Select an event" and make sure it lists only the event for the selected plugin. Now change the plugin and make sure the "Select an event" drop down is updated with the events of the plugin you selected. Repeat this test at course level
