MOODLE_20_STABLE

MOODLE_19_STABLE, MOODLE_20_STABLE
This has been mentioned many times, but I could not find an existing bug/request for it.
Many users of moodle in school environemnts would appreciate the ability to either have a course reset button located in course settings or possibly a site reset located in admin.
The role of the reset would be to unenrol all students from the course and remove all traces of their previous passage so as to allow for the course to restart fresh with new students the following year.
Reset would have to include:
- Removal of forum posts
- Emptying student data out of all modules
- Deleting uploaded student files (assignments, etc)
- Deletion of comments in modules
- I am sure there is much more
The current system of backup/restore is not viable when the whole site needs to be reset for a new school year. A reset like this would add much needed functionality to this process.
I have added a URL to a forum post discussing this option.
