Enable all the aggregation methods using the setting grade_aggregations_visible Set the course aggregation method to natural Create a category B using natural weighting Test 1 Overwrite the weight of B Click on the cog to edit B Make sure you can change the weight there Make sure you can untick "Weight overridden" to have the weight reset to default Test 2 Create a new category and override its weight in the form to create it Make sure it was created with the appropriate weight. Test 3 Create a category using "Mean of grades" And another category using "Mean of grades" within that first category Edit the second category Make sure the "Weight override" field, and the "Weight" field do not appear in the form
