Site-wide (standard) outcomes are useful for institutional level outcome assessment, however departments and programs have need to create their own standard outcomes for program use. These outcomes will be distinct from site-wide outcomes and be a unique list for each department.

Providing a method to create and assign outcomes at the course category level to enable courses within a program to inherit these particular outcomes instead of creating them for every course in that category manually would be well received.

Having long list of site-wide outcomes that should be department specific is not a good solution.
