There should be a way of generating an email when a database value changes - in particular, when attendance thresholds are not met, when grades fall below a certain level, etc. Throughout the system there should be ways to enable an email when certain values are met or not met. Email alerts are particularly important for grades and attendance, in particular for K-12 schools.
