The inline menu icons break badly because (a) they prevent you entering a table cell (b) need to be kept in sync whenever the source is modified.

Instead - I added remove the menu icons - and clicking on the table button when you have the cursor in a cell will open the table context menu at that cell.

When the buttons are showing state this will work even better.
