If a lesson is configured to only allow a single attempt, (retakes no and number of attempts = 1) a student may make further attempts to the lesson in at least two different ways.

      1) Prior to fully submitting and closing out of the lesson, use the back button as many times as required to progress back to the start.

      2) Prior to fully submitting the lesson, open a new browser tab or window and paste the lesson URL.

Both these methods will allow a student to have further attempts than prescribed in the settings, and will display the mark for each attempt to the student.

The lessons results will only show the first attempt to the teacher, subsequent attempts will be displayed in lessons results as 0 duration and a date for the attempt of 1970.

Selecting these 'duplicate' attempts and deleting them will delete all student data for that selected students lesson attempts.
