When dealing with cases where a forum post needs to be removed, but evidence kept (e.g. bullying), we should have an option to remove a post and/or discussion from view without actually deleting it.

The ability to view these hidden posts can then be controlled by a capability and a post could be re-instated.

This could also be used for crowd-sourced 'Mark as SPAM' and for a 'Mark as offensive' type flag.
