Role assignment numbers - improve somehow?

      This is really rather picky, but... the way in which the role assignments are displayed.

      If we could improve it so it doesn't feel quite so uncomfortable that'd be great.
      Either lowercasing the X, changing it to an image, changing it to an :, or making it a table.
