Moodle logs, when downloaded in Excel format, are off one hour from what is displayed on page. This occurs when the site time zone (Site administration > Location > Location settings; Default timezone) is set to a time that accounts for Daylight Saving Time. Logs, when downloaded in text format, are accurate and match what is displayed on the page.
If a timezone is selected that does not account for DST, the Excel display time is accurate and matches the page display.
