We are looking for exceptions, debugging messages, general backtraces and php errors after each step execution, there are 4 xpath/css selectors looking for those DOM nodes containing the error messages, as a step widely executed it could be good to optimize it as much as possible, so could be good to join all selectors in a single xpath expression and compare time executions.
