The new course does not include the resources (such as a label) I added to my template.

Actions:

Create a template course
Course full name: 'templatecourse'
Add a Course short name: 'templatecourse'
Add a label

In Plugins --> Enrolments --> External database

Select the Default new course category: CC/miscellaneous

Enter New course template: 'templatecourses'

Save changes.

Following CRON and new course creation, all courses are empty, void of the label I entered in the template.

I expect the newly created courses to contain the label I added to the template but maybe this is a misconception. Should this contain my label or just use new settings such as a default file size?

After re-reading

"Optional: auto-created courses can copy their settings from a template course. Type here the shortname of the template course."

I think the key word here is settings. I need to move this to a feature request so that templates can include items like labels.
