As discussed in the thread https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=229477#p996621, being able to award the same badge more than once would be welcome.

The badge should only appear once on the user's profile, but with a small multiplier symbol (2x, 3x, 4x, etc) next to, or on it.

This would be useful for awarding things like gold stars for generic excellent work.

Another badge criterion could be to be awarded a certain number of another type of badge, for example, the "10 Gold Star Badge" could be awarded when the user has been awarded 10x gold stars.
